Really enjoyed visiting Sushiya in Magnolia. The restaurant was very clean, the owners were very kind and welcoming, and you can tell they genuinely care about the food. They are under new ownership as of last month or two, and I was honestly impressed. The sushi overall was better than many sushi places I’ve tried around Houston. The salmon especially tasted really fresh. The rolls were really good too. Their hot dishes were also spot on. The beef lo mein was really good and definitely stood out. Excited to see this place continue to grow under the new owners. Definitely a local spot worth supporting. I wish they were closer to my house
